Why am I so against generative AI in games?

Because I simply do not want my initial reaction to art to be one of suspicion and scrutiny, AI slop is fundamentally damaging my relationship to art and artistry, and I am deeply resentful that it is forcing me to be guarded when I should be wowed.

Moving to Austin from a small Texas town where you've never seen a trans person has gotta be crazy I go to the lake, the water is full of trans people, swimming gleefully in the gender fluid. I ran panicked to the closest coffee shop, and a trans person attempts to give me the best oat milk latte of my life. Fearing for my life, I run to the nearest deli to try to calm myself down with the familiar taste of an egg salad sandwich on white bread. To my horror, I look up to see the deli employee has a trans flag pin on their hat. Distraught I try to hold my wife for comfort, but alas....she is also the trans....

Another picture from my photo class, this one's in my top three with the LEGO Perseverance and one other. Using long exposures to make ghosts was really fun.

I think more politicians should demonstrate their integrity by taking what is very obviously a bribe to do something stupid or corrupt, and then not do the thing they were being paid to do.

One of the fun parts of taking a shower is when the water hits your head and ears, and it sounds exactly like the rumbling and crackling of a rocket engine (the higher the water pressure, the more noticeable it is)

Lying down to take a nap is so relaxing. Going to bed normally is nice, but there's always some pressure that you need to go to bed before it's too late, or you need to get enough sleep before something the next day. Not with naps, naps are just for recovery and relaxation. Nap time best time

Your art is so hard to describe. It's consistently hot and cute at the same time, really great work!

Updating my LEGO White House

I got an ad on YouTube today from Google advertising their AI generation service that people can use to make ads. They are fully aware of the garbage they are advertising, and they don't care. In fact, they're encouraging it!

I had the Cuusso DeLorean (left) growing up, but I unfortunately lost it and the Marty figure at some point. Really happy to see LEGO coming out with a new and improved minifig scale DeLorean with better figures so I can get a nice (relatively cheap) replacement.

Did nothing today. Literally nothing, of any value at all whatsoever. Needed to do stuff, I just didn't.

I went to class today and was given a VERY painful reminder how I am completely wasting my time (and my parents' money) by just not getting school work done. Meant to get my butt to work when I got back to my apartment, and then...I didn't. I still have tomorrow, I'm sure I'll do it then.

Again, aside from that opening, the visuals were really nice. It was a fun movie and made for an enjoyable evening, though it didn't exactly blow my socks off (not that I was really expecting it to).
