It is a scandal totally unprecedented in history that the Vice President has shared a video depicting the President as king. It’s an obscene violation of every founding American principle.

It really is amazing how often you can repeat something Trump said verbatim without identifying Trump as the person who said it and Trump supporters will say it’s the dumbest thing they’ve ever heard.

Good point, although I wonder if they didn’t want the dialogue to sound stilted to some extent—it seems like many productions about these periods want to emphasize that while the people weren’t exactly stupid, their societies were rather primitive. Or is that your objection, stated differently?

With all due respect, I don’t see the problem with this in a TV show? Introducing multiple currency types/denominations might only confuse people—what is the relative value of these various currencies/denominations? TLK is, after all, not a show about 9th cen finance.

Just in case anyone thinks that Trumps respects vets at all, a Trump executive order allows VA doctors to deny vets treatment on the basis of their political party or marital status. Not that I’d expect any VA docs to actually act on it, but shameful nonetheless.

Being uninvited from the White House caused Rand Paul to lose a lot of the respect he had for Donald Trump that Trump’s two impeachments, insurrection, four criminal indictments, criminal conviction, and sexual abuse damages verdict did not cause him to lose. Got it.
