I look forward to figuring tension out at some point. I'm not quite half way through the scarf I'm working on. It's been an experience. Mostly positive. Mostly.

I'm just learning to knit and hope to get to socks. This seems like the guy in the horror movie warning off the teenagers before they make terrible decisions. 😅

Realized I haven't shown any of my #knitting progress. I have the first three sections done and the fourth is almost complete. I actually had to frog a couple rows today as I'd completely messed up a row of the seed stitch. Repeated the row 1 pattern instead of doing row 2. That was super stressful.

Chewbacca starred in Hausu?!

Hit Good Boy and Tron Ares today. Enjoyed the former quite a bit. Plot's a little muddled but I found the ending really effective.

Tron is what you should expect by now, very pretty, good soundtrack, a plot that doesn't really amount to much. I had fun.

I think some people thought this is the one where they jumped the shark because they went to space, but others really liked that about it.

I hear that's where the franchise really takes off. (That's awesome though)

I've said it before, but it bears repeating that Beacon Patrol is just a lovely chill way to end an evening. Love playing this with my wife to wind down at the end of the day. #boardgames

A ceramic yarn bowl with a ball of light brown yarn in it. There are two bamboo knitting needles in the holes of the bowl. The bowl is glazed brown on the outside and there is a gray star above and to the right of the needles. It's sitting on top of the dally bugle Lego set box. There is a bookcase in the background with lots of books stacked pretty much every which way. Ignore the books.

Decided I wanted to try to learn to knit. As a treat for finishing my last project and starting a new hobby I picked up this yarn bowl at the farmer's market tonight.

I can cast on relatively well. Figuring out the knit stitch is giving me a little trouble. I'll get there.

The front of a completed crossstitch done on yellow Aida cloth. It's a 3/4 diorama scene of cloud and tifa in the bar 7th heaven. Cloud is sitting at the bar with his buster sword on his back. Tifa is behind the bar. The characters are from the game final fantasy 7. This is the 8 bit version not the recent remake so the characters are pixelated.

Just recently finished a cross stitch that I started just about a year ago.
