Walking down the path at the slough are large, very old oak trees, twisted, and wonderful to see. The sun shines, and there is a cold crispness in the air. The air is wonderful to breathe.

Mushrooms today are plentiful. Beautiful to look at.

More views of the ocean. I never tire of the view.

This week, we give thanks to those we share our lives with and the things we are given that we hold dear.

Leaves are changing, winter is coming. Any warmth from the sun is appreciated.

I'm drawn to the ocean. The calm richness I feel, the sounds of the waves, the wind, the birds, makes life full.

Beauty of the coast. We protect her. We give, we get back, and return to the earth.

One of the blue heron that dot the landscape. They hang out with other birds like egrets, but rarely with other herons.

Dune walks today at the beach. We clean as we go. The beauty lifts our spirits. The birds, the sealife, and lovely weather make us happy to give back.

I enjoy the beauty of life but support others by increasing funding food for others who have very little.

The turning of the leaves. Everything will change with time.

Fuchsia flowers are the ballerinas of the flower world. Our lives are enriched by flowers.

Dew drops glisten on flowers. Warm, wet, and sometimes chilly. The wealth of the earth surrounds us.

A lovely couple of mallard ducks hanging out today. Little bits of joy, which is needed.

Beautiful day at the beach. Warm and clear weather made a perfect day for family fun. The large flocks of birds fly in circles overhead, training for migration. The remnants of the cement ship make for a favorite bird resting place.

White pelicans share the slough with a blue heron, a seagull, coots, shovelers, a vulture, and a red tail hawk. All together, enjoying without disagreement.

Thank you for the gift of magnificent clouds. A moment of peace and tranquility.

The rain and storms bring vibrant colors. We are stardust moving through the universe. Bring us together to appreciate how special we all are.

Pickleweed and poppy day. Pickleweed saves banks from erosion, filters water, and is a source of salt if needed.

The warmth of the sun and the coolness of the clouds. As the temperature rises and falls, layering clothes come on and off. Typical weather for this time of year. The air is fresh.

If cyanobacterium and alga love lichen and thrive together, why can't people be symbiotic with other cultures. We all benefit.
