Our county commission consists of 5 Republicans and they still picked me. I'm sure they know my voting records or party affiliation. I'm doing it! At 52 years old, I'm finally getting involved!

Tonight, here in Western NC, we saw a car slow and then stop on the road just below our house. Expecting someone up to no good, we went outside to watch. We saw a man get out and shoo a very large opossum down the road, as he didn't want to run over it. There are still kind people out there. 💙
