One physical book, titled "Obscure: Ghostmaker Book 1" and one e-book on a Kindle, titled "Oblivious: Ghostmaker Book 2." Both feature action-ready characters on the cover and are authored by Krista Walsh.

My favourite series of the year, by @kristawalshauthor.bsky.social.

Each character felt real, uniquely responding to the relentless trials & trauma of magic turned against them.

The world felt real, too: set in modern-day #Ottawa, complete with federal government bureaucracy.

It was Thai Express forever but switched to Jimmy the Greek because it's "healthier."

Oh good to know. I have thought about the DVD set, but don't have a player.

It's the same situation with The Expanse (another best show ever) — I don't have Amazon, so can't watch it.

Just checked, it's not available on any of the streamers I have, sadly.

BSG is one of the *best* shows of all time.

It costs so little money to buy one book. And if you can’t afford the book, ask your library to get it.

It's terrible. Takes more steps to get to a project, more things require paying for it, and AI *everywhere*

At today's Ottawa Small Press Book Fair, I learned more about writing and book marketing than getting pitched on these books — every author was so generous with their time.
