Being a true ally to our LGBTQ+ community means standing up for all members of our community at all times–even when it isn’t politically convenient.

Gillibrand Presses Biden to Amend the Constitution to Enshrine Sex Equality Senator Kirsten Gillibrand of New York is leading the charge for Democrats to persuade President Biden to adopt the Equal Rights Amendment, which would invite a Supreme Court battle.

President Biden should instruct the national archivist to publish the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) and protect all Americans from sex discrimination. There is no Constitutional provision for a time limit on ratification.
