Continuing levels of normalcy as I download all these pics for posterity and get truly smacked in the face with the realisation of how closely the kraken era/ battle mode costume matched up to the hyper macho fantasy of Smokehead Blackbeard, as well as the viking vampire clown illustrations 😭

Everyone please remember that this is normal. My kid is an actor & I’ve seen this before. Costumes are remade all the time as are props & sets. If the show is ever picked up they’ll make they need. Plus there is often two sets of the same costume for cleaning & repairs.

If you look at the auction items, very few of them would even be used in a subsequent season or film. And besides, costumers & propmakers are freakin' wizards who can recreate anything flawlessly (and there are often costume duplicates in the first place).
