so if i Cook or Eat veggies they basically have to be completely disguised, or masked by surrounding food

i get that i should just grow tf up and get over myself, and that it would be understandable if nobody had sympathy for this. but im wondering if anyone HAS experienced this

it is both the Flavor and Texture of Most Vegetables that makes me feels ill. green, earthy flavors, and bitter flavors, are things i really struggle with. they always taste overwhelming pungeant and acrid and like dirt basically, WHICH I KNOW IS NOT OBJECTIVE!!! thats why i hate this so much

leafy veg actually illicits retching in me, which i find massively embarrassing. i cant even eat lettuce in a burger. if i get side salad with a steak meal, i always have to leave it, like a manchild.

i hate being such an embarrassment with this. for years, extended family (who, in fairness to my main family, are horrible ppl generally, who we've since cut ties with) would mock/chastise/call attention to me at the table for not loading vegetables onto my plate.

i know how dumb this all looks.

if i do eat veggies (often fried in lots of sauce, and with egg noodles), they have to be chopped veeeery thin or they just make me feel sick??

re: prev tweet about diet, it doesn't help that unless cooked and chopped in VERY particular ways and mixed with other foods, i strongly dislike most vegetables, which set my gag reflex off.

the overwhelm i feel when i order a noodle dish and it arrives with mostly thick cut vegetables in it.

does anyone else have an absolutely horrible, limited diet?? i basically eat the same 4 processed food over and over because im too exhausted to cook properly and do meal prep 4 or 5 hours or even Days early.

honestly its so cool, i love it. this experience reminds me though of when i went to see machine girl. i was basically in a tshirt and baggy pants and everyone there was wearing something inbetween avant garde ready to wear and industrial-y goth/sceneish stuff. loved that about it though, so cool
