Nah, don't feel bad. I like what I like, it drives me to create, and other people have their own preferences. I like the whole 'Death of the Author's thing, so read stuff in whatever way you please.

Sure, sometimes a little "Haha I'm big/You're small now" is fine and justified but, slapping on all that extra stuff really adds to it. Hell, I find myself doing that within my own head when I'm looking at something that's rather run-of-the-mill anyway.

Yes! The size changing is simply the foundation something greater should be built upon.

Character relations, power dynamics, conventions and how they are changed or broken, uncommonality within the setting, the circumstances...

All matter!!

I've a similar view of my own interests, especially the Unwilling aspect of it. Without a sense of humiliation and/or contention, I find myself asking 'Where's the fun in that?"

I will say, Monster Hunter has certainly pushed me into doodling some big Monster girls, so that's a bonus.

Going through a depressive phase at the moment, but I used this as an opportunity to try and get some psychiatric help. Sent out a self-referral, just need to wait and see.

This little slump will pass, I just gotta ride it out, but its hard to draw when you feel so messed up in the head.

So, I discovered Balatro and Monster Hunter Wilds came out, leading my little break to last longer than I meant. That said, I've been hankering to draw again, so I should be posting again soon.

Drawing has been an absolute slog lately, so I'm gonna take a break from it. I can't get through any sketch I make because I'm overly critical and harsh on myself which has removed all the fun. Likewise, it feels like the hurdles I could usually get over are now preventing me from continuing.

I wanted to draw today but, I am really tired after work so I did some sketches. I will do more drawing tomorrow, however, after I get myself a nice rest in bed.
