PSU beat an 11-3 SMU team out of the ACC and you say they weren't good. Pitt beats an 11-3 Wake Forest team to win the ACC in 2021 but they were good.

I mean, that's why I also mentioned rankings. PSU was #5 and I didn't mention winning a playoff game because I don't think SMU was great but at the same time saying that Pitt beat the #17 ranked Wake Forest team and saying they were good isn't exactly a good argument to finish ranked #13.

But yeah, congrats on beating Wake Forest in the championship game. They're a real football powerhouse.

And one of the teams in the commonwealth has finished in the top 10 and made the college football playoffs because they play in an actual football conference and not the ACC. 👍

I can definitely understand that but also, PSU is the only state university that has had national relevance. I say that as someone with a soft spot for Pitt since my brother went there and I had great times there.
