The President wants to use the military to crack down on Americans who are exercising their 1st Amendment rights to oppose him. I can’t think of a better reason to insist on exercising those rights.

Carl Sagan Cat looks forward to his favorite autumn treat, small ornamental pepper plants. They are not spicy and it's possible he just enjoys crunching on them. He gets so excited when they enter the house. 😄

The third says, "All you need is love and a cat." The cat's name is Carl Sagan and he is clearly having a good time.

He's kind of an older guy so he doesn't get up on the fridge as often as he used to, but Carl Sagan Cat made the leap and had some fun with magnets.

And today they arrested the Des Moines superintendent of schools, Dr. Ian Roberts. It's unbelievable. I called Ernst and Grassley but fat lot of good that will do.

4PM Today (Friday, Sept 26): Protest at the Neil Smith Federal Building in downtown Des Moines in support of Dr Ian Roberts.

Dr Roberts was detained by ICE in Des Moines and, apparently, driven to an ICE facility in Council Bluffs.

When authoritarianism is on the rise, you can count on the richest, least vulnerable men on the planet to be the biggest cowards.
