With New Decree, Trump Threatens Lawyers and Law Firms A presidential memorandum aimed at lawyers everywhere struck a menacing tone.

“President Trump’s goal is clear. He wants lawyers and law firms to capitulate and cower until there is no one left to oppose his administration in court,” Mr. Elias said. “There will be no negotiation with this White House about the clients we represent or the lawsuits we bring on their behalf.”

Remember when the Gov created a teacher snitch line.

Well he sent out a press release of his educational accomplishments for our state. (I guess in response to all the studies and data showing he has lead Virginia to dead last or near last in the nation in pandemic recovery).

60 years ago-600 peaceful marchers were tear gassed & beaten bloody for crossing the Edmund Pettus Bridge & advocating for their rights. In retrospect, what must have seemed to be a moment of absolute darkness & despair turned out to be a spark for the Civil Rights Movement.
