Posting a reminder that no disasters are natural, & a certain one twenty years ago was especially not natural. So, you should not use the phrase. You can just say "disaster". (Although in this particular instance it was a catastrophe, not a disaster but... baby steps)

Don’t be shamed about your demand to be acknowledged for your work, ideas or initiatives. There seems to be a prevalent culture of expecting women to share their work & ideas without expecting to be credited in the name of collaboration & public benefit.

No, public benefit lies in gender equality.
