The charges for the women were in reference to sex trafficking and all the evidence presented made it look like sex parties between consenting adults not forced across state lines with that intent. The guilty charges were for prostitution which he and those involved are guilty of.

The charges they brought were not solid. They tried to go with racketeering with no accomplices when this was a prostitution case. They ignored the assault on Cassie and had to drop a bunch of charges they didn't have enough evidence to prove. He essentially is guilty of being a John.

He wasn't on trial for the assault of Cassie they should've tried to tack it on and might have been more successful but he's still facing 20 years for what he did do. There was no RICO and that was when I knew he had a chance of beating the charges.
