That’s true, there’s some recency bias there. But I think the point still holds?

Instead of reporting it as a “chant” I think media and everyone should refer to it as a “slur”. Labeling it a chant really softens the vileness. It’s a slur. Report it as a slur.

The number of posts I’ve written and deleted about the FO and the young players.

I’ll just say this: in my opinion it’s the FO’s role to be the grown-ups in the room. And the repeated problems they’ve had with young players suggests that they’re just not capable of this.

The Timbers portray themselves as the victims in every one of these instances. It’s always an impulsive player or an unprofessional agent or something.

But the fact that it happens over and over to them pretty clearly shows that they’re a big part of the problem. #RCTID
