People talking about the "Dead Internet Theory" rarely acknowledge that appeasing these algorithms remains our greatest source of dehumanization.

If our behaviors are judged and 'platformed' by bots, we are hardly more than bots ourselves. We strip our humanity to fit into their pre-defined boxes

If you participate in a space dictated by algorithm, you become merely an extension of it.

These systems control thought (via their output) AND behavior (by judging users with arbitrary standards)

To repeat "Like and Subscribe!" and to edit clips ever, ever shorter.. these were not *our* choices
