Maybe I'm in the minority but I really don't think this Pikmin short is anything more than just an animated short by Nintendo Pictures. I don't get any vibe there's a tease for a game or bigger announcement.

And animation isn't "pointless" because it isn't trying to sell you a specific product.

And you’re a 6-year-old child? Is it really such a mystery that teachers are complaining that “COVID babies” can’t say their names or tie their shoes coming into kindergarten? We’ve been serially infecting children with a virus that damages their brains. We know it does this. And we just…. keep doing it? "

As game developers, we are extremely hard workers whose trade is inextricably linked to our mental agility. Perhaps pubic appearances are unavoidable, but doing so unprotected in a crowded high-risk environment is just... reckless, frankly. For yourself, your team, your loved ones

So I've gotten off the phone with Sallie Mae. I might be eligible for an interest only payment (which would reduce my 1,600 a month to 1,300 a month). Problem is I need to pay the current fee of 3k.

Found this on the AO3 subreddit, and I'm about to let it change my whole life (or at least work really hard to internalize it wrt my writing).

we're not going to have a good, sustainable social media site as long as it is made or run by tech people. that is why I am building my own out of water, small rocks, moss, snails, brightly colored shrimp, one of those sucking fish, a mermaid statue. I'll be honest, this may actually be an aquarium.

It’s almost impossible to figure out how to bear witness to horrible things while also knowing those things are absolutely getting off on controlling your emotional state and my only advice is that they remastered Final Fantasy Tactics with some really nice voice acting
