As for the tank Squadrons:

The 3rd Platoon has been inactive since at least 2015

Since the retirement of the M60A3 TTS there is no longer an active 3rd Squadron

With only 34 Leopards at the moment, the Btn cant field more than 2 Sqds, as 6 of them are for the Recce Sqd

Lets address some of the issues

While still in service it seems that none of 7-8 M88A1/A1G are operational at the moment
I am also unsure if they would be present in the Tank Sqd Maintenance Section or not

As for the M578 it has been removed from service but kept on TO&E
