If you'd like to know more about the 17th Army Corps, here is our recent overview post:

The new Ukrainian 159th Mechanized Brigade seems to have been (at least partially) committed to the Zaporizhzhia axis.
It is unclear how it will fit within the 17th Army Corps, recently deployed to this area.
It might only be in a supporting role for the moment.

The 241st TDF Brigade seems to have battalions spread around the frontline, but its UAS units have recently become active in Kam'yans'ke.
The 44th Artillery Brigade has had elements on the southern front since 2023, along with detachments in the Sumy direction.
The 110th Mechanized Brigade is not currently deployed: following fighting in Velyka Novosilka, it rotated out in April but suffered a deadly strike on its command post in the rear (Huliajpole, Dnipro oblast) on July 1st.
Elements remain in the Sumy and Novopavlivka directions.
Marfopil, Malynivka and Olhivske fall under the 102nd and 110th TDF Brigades - these are not currently part of 17th Army Corps.
However, they likely were under OTU Zaporizhzhia in the past, so it is unclear whether they will be attached to 17AK or remain separate.
The 3rd Battalion "Volyn" of the UDA (Ukrainian Volunteer Army) was deployed near Myrne in the spring.
The 108th TDF Brigade has been holding the front west of Hulyaipole since 2023.
Moving East, the 65th Mechanized Brigade's sector has remained the same since late 2022.
The Free Russia Legion has been operating in this area in the early summer.
Mala Tokmachka, north-east of the infamous Robotyne, has been under the 118th Mechanized Brigade since late 2023.
On the western flank, the frontline towns of Kam'yans'ke, Stepove and Mali Shcherbaky have long been held by the 128th TDF Brigade and 128th Mountain Assault Brigade respectively.
Check out our in-depth look on this area, posted earlier this week: bsky.app/profile/waru...
This is the composition of the 17th Army Corps, revealed on its socials in the past week and reported by @militaryland.net.
It includes two TDF (Territorial Defence Forces) brigades: the 128th TDF Brigade was transferred to the Ground Forces in 2024 but is yet to be reorganized.
The Ukrainian 17th Army Corps (17AK) has likely deployed to the front, replacing the Operational Tactical Group (OTU) Zaporizhzhia.
Most units assigned to the Corps are currently holding the line between Kam'yans'ke and Huliajpole.
(Boundaries on the map are approximate)
In the past few weeks, the new 17th Army Corps has taken charge of this sector of the front and a large area to the East.
We will cover the larger picture in a thread in the coming days.
During the spring, this area saw the deployment of other separate units such as HUR's special unit "Artan" and "Kastus Kalinouski" Regiment.
Various drone units, including the 412th, 422nd, 423rd and "Flying Skull" Unmanned Systems Battalions also previously operated here.
The 131st Recon Battalion and HUR's special unit "Kraken" have been operating in Kam'yans'ke itself, along with (recently) the National Guard "Omega Wings" unit.
241st TDF Brigade's drone company "Vyrii" has also appeared here, but the TDF battalions still seem to be elsewhere.
What Ukrainian units are defending Kam'yans'ke against the recent Russian push?
The overall sector belongs to the 128th Territorial Defence (TDF) Brigade, supported by various attachments.
The 128th Mountain Assault Brigade holds its eastern flank.
Yes, this can be confusing.
One of our members released an article today on @tochnyi.info about Russian military transfers to Armenia. Which military units, where they are operating right now and why they might have been chosen.

In a July 6, 2025 decree, the brigade was given the name of the aforementioned Mikhail Gudkov and it is now officially:
"155th Separate Guards Kurskaya Orders of Zhukov and Suvorov Naval Infantry Brigade Named After Two-Times Hero of the Russian Federation M. E. Gudkov".
Other officers were confirmed Killed In Action:
Colonel Sergey Yuryevich Ilin, commander of the brigade
Colonel Leonid Viktorovich Bashkardin, chief of staff of the brigade
Colonel Nariman Shamsutdinovich Shikhaliev
The Russian 155th Naval Infantry Brigade's command post was hit by a HIMARS strike in Korenevo (Kursk oblast) on July 2nd.
Major General Mikhail Evgenyevich Gudkov, deputy commander (coastal and land forces) of the Russian Navy was confirmed Killed In Action in the strike.
The 80th Arctic Motorized Rifle Brigade has started to target wind turbines north of the Kinburn recently
x.com/RoadtoMars9/...
Ukrainian sources recently reported that the 337th VDV regiment was moved towards the Kinburn peninsula www.youtube.com/live/L99aziQ...
VDV units often posses long range drone capabilities
Today a little boy was killed in Pravdyne, Kherson.
According to our unit data (in cooperation with @kelley7622.tochnyi.info) it is highly likely that either the 80th Arctic Brigade, the 61st Naval Infantry Brigade, the Drone unit "Delta Team" or 337th VDV was responsible for this atrocity.
There will be a short article with some thoughts on these alleged transfers in the near future.

Ukraineโs military intelligence service GUR released an intercepted Russian telegram today. While we don't have more information about alleged transfers to Armenia, we have translated most mentioned Military Numbers to Military Unit Names
07.07.2025 19:40 โ ๐ 6 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 1The Corps' remaining maneuver unit, 17th Heavy Mechanized Brigade, was still in the Sumy direction in early June based on fundraisers.
As it will presumably move to 20AK's sector, we will keep you updated on its position in the future.
Additional evidence of 20th Army Corps' deployment comes from today's post by TGr Vuhledar's former commander, Lieutenant General Naiev, announcing the end of his command tenure.
He also mentions that tasks in the area will now be managed by one of the newly established Corps.
The 23rd, 31st, 33rd and 141st Mechanized Brigades are the Corps' maneuver units already operating in this area.
As 67th Mechanized Brigade is still part of 9th Army Corps, it might rotate out in the near future.
This is the composition of 20th Army Corps, as revealed yesterday in a post on its official Facebook page and initially reported by @militaryland.net
21.06.2025 15:19 โ ๐ 6 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0The Ukrainian 20th Army Corps (20AK) might be deploying to the frontline after revealing its units.
With 4 of its maneuver brigades currently operating in southern Donetsk, it will partly replace Tactical Group Vuhledar (TGr Vuhledar).
(Boundaries on the map are approximate)
Another area of interest is Tetkino, where the 56th and 217th Air Assault Regiments are defending alongside the 2nd Spetsnaz Brigade. Infantry reinforcements are being provided by the 1st VKS Regiment and reserves from the 346th Motor Rifle Regiment (stationed at Postoyalye Dvory training ground)
