04.11.2025 05:52 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Yes, the quality and length of the score list the body is able to keep track of improves exponentially after 40. Moreso after 50.
04.11.2025 02:05 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Iβm back checking BlueSky again.
But yeah this Azure outage completely hosed my company last week. Not fun times. People seem to forget that if DNS goes down, itβs like all the asphalt on the freeway spontaneously liquifies. Nobodyβs going anywhere.
The body begins more copiously keeping score the older you get. My scorecard is getting annoying long at this point.
03.11.2025 19:14 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I see you speaking Swedish so seldomly, and your English is so good, that I was genuinely surprised to see you writing in your native tongue.
Thatβs it, no further thoughts on the matter. The only phrases I know in Swedish are both contextually inappropriate, so I wonβt try to impress you.
I was gonna say, yeah the Gen Xers would love you for it. Anyone younger probably wouldnβt get it lol. Either way, the answer is always βdo the coverβ, regardless of source material. Deltarune is calling.

19.05.2025 15:08 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The Billy Joel tune? If so, thereβs always room for Billy Joel covers. If not, thereβs also always room for other Big Shot covers. The point is just make the cover.

Good luck!
Pay to play is $599 assuming youβve got a mouse/keyboard, and monitor. Not horrible.
14.03.2025 03:00 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Itβs Linux. Issues cropping up every so often is like any normal Tuesday. I think the difference between Linux nerds and normal users is we actually LIKE fixing stuff with CLI. Whatβs wrong with us?
13.03.2025 20:49 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Anyone installing any half-baked Linux build on partially-supported hardware isnβt doing it for daily driver status. Itβs purely for geek cred and tinkerability. :P

Lol used M1 minis on eBay are going for $350-450-ish and are stuck with 8gb of motherboard-soldered ram. M2βs vary between $500-800-ish. Sucks when the M4 16/256 is only $599 :P
13.03.2025 20:43 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The M4 minis are only $599 new. Iβm half tempted to buy the entry level model and just toss Asahi on it. But thatβs such a nice processor I feel like most of what itβs capable of would be wasted. Maybe Iβll seek out a used miniβ¦
13.03.2025 20:33 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0Have any of my Mac-using friends been brave enough to pull the trigger on Asahi yet? Iβm super curious how close it is to daily driver status.

I also have Mint and Ubuntu on a 2016 MacBook Pro and theyβre both flawless. Could easily be my daily driverβ¦but my M-series MBP is just too nice to let it gather dust. :P
13.03.2025 00:39 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Heck, if you just want Firefox, Thunderbird, Libre Office, FreeTube, and a smattering of other basic stuff, Mint is pretty much there already as long as youβre driving on stable hardware that isnβt 15 years old. Note: I have an old MacBook Air that IS 15 years old, and Mint freezes on it a lot.
13.03.2025 00:39 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0The number of DNS requests our various devices send/receive over a 24-hour period is bananas. We donβt see any of this with our eyes, but your devices are sending *enormous* amounts of info about you. This is what my network saw over the last 24 hours. Zoinks!
12.03.2025 23:30 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0This. I drive Ubuntu, Mint, and Debian flavors of Linux on various machines. Iβm a dyed in the wool tech geek who knows where to look when errors happenβ¦which they do a lot in Linux. Itβs great that itβs not Microsoft, but I wouldnβt even think about using Linux as an audio machine today. Not yet.
12.03.2025 22:58 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0For those who used to use Digg before Reddit took over, itβs coming back with some new tricks. Woot!

16.02.2025 04:22 β π 4 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0Tinnitus has been my constant companion since 2009. A C# in my left ear and a B natural in my right. Iβm in perpetual major second hell. But you get used to it and just listen around it. Itβs generally never problematic once you get past the horrifying βnewβ stage. Mine isnβt overly loud.
