I honestly think we're at a point now where countries need to pull out for changes to actually happen. If the contest suddenly only bring 25-30 countries in, the Eurovision will have a harder time pretending like everyone is happy with the current direction of the contest

I've been thinking about this as well, technically we don't know if some broadcasters did complain about something like Olly's or Windows95mans performance and therefore they've had to make changes

Maybe do a rule like no NF artists from the past 3 or 5 years (something like that), it opens it up to more possible artists to pick but still makes it so no one wins because of a recency bias
