They voted for racism, misogyny, and being able to use slurs.
But they thought the crook would lower the cost of living, and they didn't think he'd deport the landscaper and grandma's caregiver (which let them do bro-casts when not playing video games.) They're being inconvenienced, and they're mad.

Guys, I'm trying really hard to use Discord but I don't know, It's super hard to keep up while being busy and enjoying life in Korea. Even for news I read them at my own pace, which is probably not ideal if I want to keep my YouTube updated but that's who I am now.

I started my Halloween month by watching Eraserhead, Dr. Jekyll and mr Hyde (1941) and Carnival of Souls. Third time watching David Lynch's spiritual journey and I believe the older you get the better you understand it. Also I love how elaborate was this Jekyll version. And Carnival of Souls was ok

Companies make you think you can have all the games in the world to play while taking all the time you have left by watching adds, scrolling into weekly deals to buy games you will never play and keep you hyped with games news, smokes and mirrors.

Comparing music copyright and piracy with movies and AI is the most ridiculous thing I've ever read. It's just a massive corporate tech mass eating artists by lunch and convincing the world generative AI is needed for their daily lives. I'll tell you what is needed: REAL stories from REAL people!!

Up to this point, I think many indie and AA games will abandon the premise of Game Pass and the service will slowly become the WWF or UFC of video games

The Last of Us Part II - Anรกlisis โ€ข Estado Gamer LA Aun si la presentaciรณn es excelente a nivel audiovisual, The Last of Us Part II palidece con una historia intrascendente.

I was even tired of the vengeance cycle because up to this point. Everybody knew what their outcomes will be. And I believed that Naught was still affraid of choosing Abby (the most interesting story of the game) as the main character. I would'v been a completely different game by antagonizing Ellie

The article is in Spanish but you can translate it to English too. I was ki da tired of trying to emphatize with a character that practices haiku in a crhonologically incorrect period while slashing people. I was of ruining the wonderful story for tiktok esque distractory side quests.

Iโ€™m Getting Bored of Every PlayStation Game Telling the Same Story - IGN After Ghost of Yotei's tale of revenge and grief, is it about time PS5 exclusives got some new ideas?

Simon Cardy made a solid article for @ign.com that resonated with at the time I reviewed The Last of Us Part 2 and Ghost of Tsushima. I noticed that trend of greif, vengeance and disonant side quests even before COVID.

It's real now? They are unifying the two movies into one? I kinda wonder if they will change the order too. Althought it would have been a less interesting movie depending of your point of view

I mean since Xbox is going the PC route, the only positive thing they can pull out of this terrible situation is having Windows 12 the option to have different OS modes. One with the classic Windows and the other with the Xbox app UI with all Game stores and saving 20-30% of CPU

Xbox products have always landed somewhere between "Should we give players the best gaming experience or should we do the bare minimum?" Now they just don't care. I've worked in enough corporate entities to know they are just hiding the Xbox brand until it becomes just PC

A Left-Handed Girl Review from a left-handed person Left-Handed Girl is a charming story of resilience about a family that moves back to Taipei to open a night market stall.

Left-Handed Girl is a sweet tale of resilience and family union. It carefully pays homage to the vibing life in Taipei, the culture and daily lives of ordinary people with grace and thoughtfulness. Read the full review! Another film I saw during BIFF30 or the 30th Busan International Film Festival!

why do we need to secure the border at all? for most of human history, 'border security' wasn't really a concept. it only started after world war 1, and it hasn't really done any good for us. of course europe, which remembered that, implemented free movement in the EU

I'm starting my 30th Busan International Film Festival's Side Review Series with Silent Friend, which is probably one of the most unique films you'll ever see. Check out my review and support!

Bong Joon Ho also mentioned a book talking about the behind the scenes of the film. He also mentioned how Shinji Aoyama was well regarded between japanese filmmakers like Kiyoshi Kurosawa, and actually I heard about Aoyama because of him.

It's Japan's Lawrence of Arabia, they literally filmed the movie in Panavision (probably 60mm, I don't think it is 70mm like Akira) , so you see characters acting non stop in scenes secuences that follow them from far distances, from corner to corner. Koji Yakusho is a master in subtle acting too

I not sure if I want to write about Eureka so for now I'll do it here. It's not a priority to me now(even if I did wanted to watch it for years, my 39 year old brain was ready for a slow burn), but all I can say is a 4 hours long journey about trauma and greiving. It kinda has like 4 endings ๐Ÿ˜ตโ€๐Ÿ’ซ

I'll probably going to write reviews of most of the movies I watch, so I consider this as a writing exercise, but perhaps you'll find something interesting these films:
Bugonia, ์‚ฌ๋ž‘์˜ ํƒ„์ƒ (The Mutation), Girlfriends, The Wedding Banquet (๊ฒฐํ˜ผ ํ”ผ๋กœ์—ฐ), ์ง€์šฐ๋Ÿฌ ๊ฐ€๋Š” ๊ธธ (En Route To), Weapons, Left-Handed Girl, Arcoโฉ๏ธ

As a final statement and opinion, It's super hard these days to make catchy songs in movie musicals (seroiously, name one after Frozen), that combined with a well based movie in Korean culture and a relatable story, it makes this movie one of the best in its genre. Animations are on another level!
