In short, empowering community > philanthropy.

I think what matters in the long run when designing for crises is how well-rooted within the community that solution is. One of the rare moments I hope design gets democratized even more, because design has been middle-class for too long it makes designing for the Central area difficult.

It's been a month and I've been researching this. An important thing I learnt is that any effort of innovation as aid MUST come from the community. We as outsiders rarely have knowledge to design for them. The cultural nuances between cities and rural areas in Vietnam is very intricate.

It appears that the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has, within the past week, scrubbed a large amount of climate change content from its official website, as well as *removed human-caused warming* from the discussion on its "causes of climate change" page.
