While I agree it’s an important distinction, I feel like the difference in the way information flows between the rules and the fiction is perhaps more critical. In a board game, the rules inform the fiction but never the other way around. In most RPGs, the fiction can affect the rules as well.

Deficient sounds like a good word for the lacking environment, so perhaps for the better end of the scale: Sufficient, Satisfactory, Supportive, Complete, Abundant?

Assuming a human perspective, I’d probably use words like lush/barren or thriving/sparse or rich/poor.

I’m curious, habitable from whose perspective? Because even deserts and badlands are “complete habitats” for desert-dwelling creatures and they may not be able to survive elsewhere. And a desert on Earth is more habitable than one on Mars. Sorry if this is too pedantic…

Ehrgeiz: God Bless the Ring (PS1, 1998) had a 3D fighting game on disk 1, and an incredibly deep random dungeon crawler on disk 2 that utilised the same fighting game system.

As an editor for indie RPG products, I have come across too many of these to remember. I share them with my wife, have a chuckle, and fix them so nobody else gets to see them.

Finished the main story in God Eater Resurrection tonight! A long time ago I played the first two sections on my PSP with an import of God Eater Burst, so I did get to experience some new stuff. Not planning to do the extra Challenge content though. GE2 is next, maybe after Blue Prince.

I found the “ICE ICE Baby” one to be in particularly poor taste.

Unfortunately I don’t think any possible group of “decently sized militaries” would be up to the job considering the US military budget is around 40% of the global total, or the same amount as the next nine largest military budgets combined.

I was disappointed to learn that Bradman died at 92, not at the age of 99.94.
