So rare to get a functional walkable retail corridor like this in Ohio. This one, Lorain avenue in cleveland, is emerging as a legit one tho imo.

We can #StopSuperSpeeders BEFORE they kill people. Similar to how drunk drivers are sometimes required to use ignition interlock devices.

I love how Waymo used its huge megaphone to blame the child (darting into traffic!) but we didnβt hear the familyβs side.
One reason I think these huge companies should be held to a higher standard than normal drivers is they are incredibly powerful and wealthy.
I love @schmangee.bsky.social 's honesty & perspective here. the way she describes how people wanting to trust the system get let down and eventually give up.

Los Angeles is becoming a cautionary tale about what happens when cities just completely abdicate their responsibility for keeping people safe on the roads imo. Site where a pregnant mother was killed on a family bike ride

My question is this. Where are the big important agencies like ODOT on important practical transportation questions for essential services like schools?

E-bike easily beats bus by 2x on any given point-to-point trip. The reasons to forego e-bike are: lack of safe infrastructure, rider ability, bike maintenance, theft risk, more than 1 person.
