Until black history is properly included into US history, we need this month. We can’t put what makes us uncomfortable away to never look at it, that will only make us unable to move past it. Embrace our truth, good, bad, and the ugly, to create a better world.

I want to celebrate the courage and efforts that so many before us went through to fight for equality. The fight isn’t over, and it starts with being knowledgeable about facts and history.
