High west in Utah used to make (maybe they still do but it ain’t makin it to Alaska anymore) “silver whiskies” and their 98% oat mash one tasted like creamy vanilla citrus honeydew it was incredible.

I’m a lifelong Alaskan and a huge hater and I now recollect seeing their comeback stuff and looking down my frosty nose at them. I kinda liked how extra they were in that Bandcamp interview but not enough to remember them it would appear.

And I’m just like “I recognize that name, I think I liked an album of theirs in like 09-10” or can’t remember the last time I ever listened to them. No high horse here but I don’t think any of these bands are in a regular rotation for me.

This is the first I’ve heard of this fest and dang the “Nazis to bands i think I enjoy(ed)” ratio is staggering.
