They magically resurrected Palpatine without giving a damn about continuity, plausibility, or themes, but aparently this is too much

I’ve never been more disappointed by a movie in my life than rise of skywalker and this somehow makes it even worse. They had no problem magically brining Palpatine back to life, in the fucking opening text scroll with absolutely zero setup in prior movies, but this would be a bridge too far. Smdh…
