I had a new floater pop up for a while that essentially looked like a fruit fly in my peripheral vision recently, and it's faded a lot now, but when it was new it kept freaking me out every few minutes. It's almost worse when they really look like bugs!

As part of this process, I at least have had five different people put in complaints about how everything was better before they started outsourcing deliveries to gig employees who don't get benefits and they should just hire people and pay them a living wage to do the job instead? Maybe that helps?

Some of these songs straight up sounded like demos she was making to shop around to up and coming pop acts, and in that context, they sound perfect for that game plan.

I just think if you're going to go to all the trouble of saying something got you wet as a person in your mid-thirties, it's chickenshit self censoring to obscure it with all kinds of overlapping voices and effects like you're one of the former disney kids in the Y2K era.

I hope she has a lucrative career writing songs for much younger people that don't toss around casual appropriation so heavily. That's the extremely abbreviated and most diplomatic version of my thoughts.

I am listening to this whole Taylor Swift record before I say what I want to say about it because I'm really looking for the gems here. I just want the record to show that I really, really tried.

I went down a very big rabbit hole about all of this last night and I absolutely do not need to start a collection, but I think I deserve just one as a treat

Apparently, because my order is so broken there is no way anybody can just send me an electronic gift card, and they won't mail it. The only option was to have an employee drive it to my house, or to just get $25 worth of something else I will use. So I'm getting a pile of mulch later I guess. 3/3

This thing has been escalated all the way to the head of engineering to try to solve the bug that ate my money and today I just finally said to somebody that they needed to just give me a gift card in good faith because I shouldn't have to fight for $25 for a month. 2/

I've been fighting with Lowe's to get my $22 plus tax for a plant that I ordered a month ago and didn't get for over a month because their system doesn't play nice with the instacart system I didn't even know they outsourced to. The computer system literally will not let them refund me 1/

I've cut out the left half of the pumpkin lid cross section. There's a curved line running across horizontally. Above the line I've written the letter A and below the line I've written the letter B.

The candle now has a strip of poster board wrapped around where the string is. I'm holding my cut out paper from the second pic next to it; you can see the A section lines up with the strip of poster board.

For certain projects I get carried away with striving for precision and symmetry, which, honestly, is often less about how I want the finished thing to look and more because I really enjoy the challenge and process of it all. Here's a work in progress. (1/3)
