The only thing that helps for me is to pick an action I can do to help my community in some small way

People I know just use AI willy-nilly and don’t care, even when I explain the impacts to them.

A separate issue is the general lack of compassion, ethics, and morality. There’s very little or no sense of community.

I try to search for anti-ai organizations and alternatives, and the searches are so poisoned with ai propaganda that I only find criticisms of anti-ai sentiment. There doesn’t seem to be much of an organized resistance

I totally get you, theres an emotional fatigue that sets in when you realize how futile everything feels and how no one stands with you. The latest thing to trigger this feeling is AI, but just in general it feels like no one cares.

It’s actually very easy for me to fall into despair because it feels like HUMANS DO NOT CARE, let alone stand for any principles or morality that even mildly inconveniences them. Sometimes the future feels so bleak.
