Lovely quartet for Beethoven 9 tonight. The concert hall was a veritable sauna but we made it out alive! Smashing night. πΆβ€οΈ

I'm singing two concerts on Saturday: a recital in Gloucester in the morning with pianist Alex Wilson, including songs by Kenneth Leighton, Butterworth, Gurney, Howells, John Ireland & RVW; and then soloing in Beethoven 9 in the evening in Bristol, on my way home to Devon.

BBC Radio 3 - Choral Evensong, Buckfast Abbey
Choral Vespers from Buckfast Abbey on the Wednesday in the Octave of Pentecost.
Recorded βas liveβ a couple of months ago, tomorrowβs R3 broadcast of Choral Evensong is a service of Choral Vespers from Buckfast Abbey. It includes a very good, pleasingly original setting of βThe Spirit of the Lordβ by Matthew Martin. www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m...
