Everything sucks and I’ve been hanging a lot of shit on the Switch 2 *BUT* truly nothing assembles the cousins faster than Mario Kart

Switch 2 thoughts: the device feels much more premium than I thought, with some weirdness exceptions, everything feels like it had a super solid iteration, free Palestine, and Mario Kart World free roam is pretty fun but not as realized an experience as just doing races.

It’s no surprise that the cost of existing is pandering to these big evil companies, but it sucks to hear it every time! I really hope you tear them to shreds as best as you can 🥲

(also this absolutely does not fall on you because every Aus outlet is covering the Xbox stuff, but I'm interested in the role of a small outlet with this stuff)

I'm genuinely curious and sympathetic to this, but my question is then, what's the point of having a site that you run if you can't say the things you feel strongly about? Is there a middle ground where you can report on the games but also give context to what the company is doing?
