Am doing the thing everyone says not to do… writing a new novel instead of finishing the old one 🤷🏻‍♀️

Someday I hope I’ll rewrite it. There are just too many foundational problems due to me being at lower skill level when I started compared to now.

Halfway thru drafting the book, and realizing that one character should’ve been unalived in chapter 2… the urge to revise mid-draft… it’s too strong 😭

Just finished Don’t Let the Forest In by C.G. Drews, and wow…. one of THE best books I’ve read in a long time. My head is still spinning from that ending. The lush prose, memorable characters, haunting dark academia setting… all absolutely phenomenal.

I’m so with you! There’s still nothing like holding a book in your hand, but audiobooks are the more realistic way for me to get through all the books I want to!

They are truly the best!

Mostly my 9-5 day job :) and also dance! I’m a hip-hop dancer and spend many of my evenings at practice with my team.

That’s why I love audiobooks. Helps me “read” during drives or in-between moments.

My MC would definitely blast “Vampire” by Olivia Rodrigo on aux. She and her love interest start out a bit toxic to say the least 🫣 but it just makes it all the sweeter when they figure out how to love each other right!
