Illustrations of good habits including walking the dog, eating healthy, cooking often, revising and improving past projects, keeping up drawing from life and updating my portfolio.
New Yearβs resolutions always ring hollow to me so this year Iβm taking a leaf out of Helen Stephenβs book and visualising habits I want to keep up by reminding myself of how they impact my mood. And yes, I know itβs March already! Iβm slow, okay!

The Gate House at Lunuganga - a colonial style building with smooth archways from the 60s shrouded by greenery.
This is Lunuganga, or part of it anyway. Itβs an incredible estate by architect Geoffrey Bawa β if youβre ever in Sri Lanka youβve got to visit and walk around the gardens. Just watch out for warthog poop!

A short comic about a nosey elderly street dog energetically following a woman walking her puppy. The puppy looks unnerved by the older dogβs curiosity.
There are loads of street dogs about & this used to make me extremely reluctant to walk my own dogs, but Baby Miloβs still small, so Iβm desensitising him. Things can get unnerving when they keep following us, but so far theyβve left us alone beyond their territory. This guy was by far the nosiest!
