No, I just miss who he was and that’s not who he is now. Hell, I’m not even the same person. We still talk and text every damn day. We’re in each other’s lives, but in a different capacity.

So! After a decade together, my partner and I mutually agreed to separate. It actually happened awhile ago, but we kept it to ourselves. There’s so much love still there, but we grew apart. That’s okay. It happens. Do I still love him? Yes. Am I still in love with him?

We can’t out-Republican Republicans, nor should we want to.
