The search for a design language for a place of knowledge and learning in a green environment led us to a structure and appearance that we think of as an architecture of integration, healing and respect for nature.

Here is our competition entry for the new library of the Botanical Garden in Chengdu. For this project, prespace ARCHITEKTEN collaborated with JZFZ Architectural Design.

Hinter dem etwas old school klingenden Wort „Anwesenheitstafel“ verbirgt sich eine schöne Idee, sehen wer im Büro verfügbar ist. Unser Kunde wollte diese in analoger Form und die haptische Interaktion mit dem „Board“ war der wohl entscheidende Aspekt für das Design.

This is a project I am very proud of because it is exceptional for China. Our design work spanned over 2 years and covered all relevant areas: urban planning, architecture, façade, interior design and landscape architecture.
