It's been refreshing to move away from planning 2 day, multiple venue festivals, and back to small scale events. I'm happy if 10 people show up. But at the same time, without the ticketing and structure, it's always more worrying on the day when I have no idea if anyone is going to show up or not.

Last month, 7 photographers took part in a photo walk in Busan where everyone shot on the same film stock, Kodak Color Plus 200. With the color being the same, what sets the images apart are the composition of the photographer, and the camera used. Come along for a chilled party and see the results

you have the right to not hang out with assholes. you deserve not to hang out with assholes. you are under 0 obligation to socially interact with assholes in your free time.

it is truly terrible that our culture tricked so many people into thinking that they’re obliged to be friends with assholes!

I think I'll need a holiday to recover from the holiday. My parents have been visiting since the start of the month, and over the 2 weeks I've walked roughly 188km. It's been a long time since I had to take a tourists view around Korea.

Sometimes I think about getting involved in the music scene in Busan again, and then I see 2 bands I like get together to play a show celebrating a guy who spent 5 years stalking and gaslighting his ex.

After watching and loving One Battle After Another with my wife, we watched Punch Drunk Love for the first time tonight. I'd heard so much about it for years, and it was shockingly terribly bad.

While I walked around, people were passing by carrying boxes and wearing hard hats. I started to question things, but still no one said anything to me On my way out, I noticed a barrier across the way I had come in.

Got my dates a little confused, and came to F1963 before work today. I planned to check out the international photo festival. I walked in and the lobby seemed pretty busy. I was confused about what was going on. No one stopped me, so I kept going and walked through the whole exhibit.

Why Korean Artist Woopsyang Stopped Trying So Hard

Here's an interview with Korean artist Woopsyang. I visited her exhibition in Seoul last March. We talked about why she stepped away from painting for almost a decade, what influences her art and process, and how she started the Space Out Competition.

Neither my wife nor I are perfectly fluent in each other's language. We've said from the start that it doesn't matter as long as we can understand each other. This early Monday morning, I made coffee and breakfast for us, and my wife came to the table and said, "Hey, your face looks disgusting."
