In the past I’ve gotten feedback that, after a painful layoff, that I should isolate myself from others to not make things worse. It’a hard for those let go, and it’s hard for those still at the company.

I really wish they did a "filming take" and let folks opt out. I understand wanting natural shots and stuff, but really in this day and age it's 100% in your interest to decide to be in or out of footage. I don't blame you at all for your reactions or feelings around any of this :(

When I think of A.I. I think of asbestos. To begin with everyone thought Asbestos was amazing, folk used it in everything. Then they started learning it was dangerous, research was done, they stopped using it, thou for some the damage was already done. Stop using A.I and limit the damage it's doing.

One thing I've been doing is, when considering a task, realizing that it takes calculation or counting and I'll say out loud "I can't use it for analysis" and make a calculator instead.

I guess, full disclosure, I have corrected vision and my main thing to compare it to is 5-year-old Kindle devices. But I'm pretty thrilled how text comes out on it for PDFs, Kindle books, and my own handwriting.

Absolutely. It's super crisp, and in regular-to-low light it's fine. I also tend to push it with light too low to really be good for me.

But like "bedside light, diffused 800 lumens" is totally great. Airplane overhead light is totally great. I feel great reading it even for extended times.

I'm really happy with my SuperNote but it's the only writing e-ink device I've owned. But also someone who's felt the friction of a device/software not quite meeting my needs.

My gut feeling is there's not a good reason to switch, but I'm happy to hear your needs / talk about my experience..
