As this impacts ICE recruitment, I'm glad, I guess...but mostly, as a former public school employee especially, this makes me really really sad. Not surprised, unfortunately, but sad.

No one deserves to die for their vote. That said, as far as their farms failing due to Felon & his minions if they supported him, that seems to be in the realm of personal responsibility to some extent at least (of course many are suffering, in ag & elsewhere) who DIDN'T vote for this, too, though.

ARGH.... as a former public school employee this is SO infuriating. Clueless and/or just doesn't CARE. They are simply all about pushing their MAGA/"christian" nationalist agenda. And schools are def a huge part of that plan.

Oh these people... living while brown in the US right now... I'm so very, very, very sorry... millions of us are trying to help you, to stop these crimes against your very humanity...

We HAVE THE NUMBERS... but do we have the ONGOING ENGAGEMENT of 12+ million devoted citizens defending democracy, educating others who aren't yet fully aware, on a daily basis? The protest/rally organizing pages ALL have lists of ideas of what we EACH can do on the regular.... THAT'S how we win!

Quick search says US population (2024) is about 340.1 million - 3.5 % is about 12 million. 7 million actually turned up in the streets on Saturday, many more driving by support, many of others could't be at a rally... but like Elizabeth says, it takes *ongoing engagement*...

Can't we just have the so called "Commander in Chief" dishonorably discharged for "behavior unbecoming"?

Even for NYC I'm blown away by seeing that - holy moly!! Can't wait to here crowd size estimates later today / tomorrow!! Thank you to each and every person out there today, and those standing up for equity, empathy, and DEMOCRACY in all the ways we can help! (it's not JUST about attending rallies)

It's the folks that turn out in small, red red areas like this that give me the most hope - thank you ALL! I know the area, have spent lots of time there (PSJ, Apalach, Carabelle,etc.) and just from that, I know it's not easy day in and day out living with so much MAGA everywhere up there. <3 <3

It's always the protests of any size in red states/red regions that give me the most hope - thanks to all that showed up in Columbus, IN today!
