These mega-corporations aren’t on workers’ side and their actions make it painfully clear.

The unfortunate thing is far too many political party dick-riders will look at even the clearest of patterns and see no connection between incidents that have the same or similar energy.

It's as if deeply ingrained societal misogyny keeps brain cells from connecting in such folks.

I'm so sorry to hear that. As someone on disability support myself, I've essentially come to terms with the possibility that after my mother passes (which hopefully isn't for a while yet) there's a chance I end up homeless, so I at least have a basic understanding.

I get a bit irritated when I see “now they’re coming after disabled people?!” like we didn’t all see that clip in 2015.

They have ALWAYS been coming after disabled people. They use us to stoke fear, to delegitimize the agency of our own and other groups, as scapegoats, as bellwethers, as excuses.

And a number of those non-Canadians don't care, unfortunately.

Then, assuming you are correct in that assertion, I suppose some (like myself) simply don't pay enough attention.

I would also assume you would know at the very least where to see such an example involving a male reporter, besides "Just go on YouTube, dude!"

I will be the first to admit I couldn’t understand why anyone would oppose Assisted Dying… and then I became disabled and had it “offered” to me.

It’s not compassionate when there’s coercion.

It’s not dignified when it’s offered in lieu of care.

There's still incredible need for stable, truly affordable public housing, and we have so many unused lots in this city, yet our supposed city "leader" is focused on expansion as if that will solve ALL our problems.

It won't. They're all the same, and blood will inevitably be on their hands.

And then there's Alex Nuttall, the mayor of Barrie, where I so live, who only a month or so ago enacted a state of emergency due to the homeless population that he and others like him helped cause to accumulate in the first place.

This shouldn't be acceptable, and yet apathy wins out, per usual.

I'm sure his AG, Douglas Downey, who's riding I live within, is quite content with the idea of disabled and less fortunate Ontarians becoming homeless at the whims of self-absorbed landlords who prioritize profits over the lives of their tenants.

So the Fuckin Old Reconstituted Dodge is back to his usual, corrupt self. With Bill 60, Douglas has shown his disdain for even the common people of Ontario, those who allowed him and his government to retain power.

In my personal experience I've found a somehow effective loophole by describing what I'm feeling from said need not being met in a way that most can understand while being too well-thought-out to be downplayed.

Example: Trying an "unsafe" food is akin to attempting to swallow a cactus whole.

He's gotta pick a temperament when answering questions and stick with it in my opinion. Instead of being short and condescending to a specific sex, keep that energy regardless of who's asking the questions. Will people then think he's an asshole? Sure, still better than the alternative.

My main issue with AI is that a fair amount of the global population lack the knowledge to discern genuine information from AI falsities.

Besides there's better things we can be powering, like warming shelters for the homeless population in the winter.

Religion is both a kindness and a dangerous weapon. Westernized religion especially has it's roots in points of white male supremacy in regards to the "God" in such faiths being a white man, and their depictions of Jesus having much the same qualities. It's how things have been for far too long.

MP Jamil Jivani is not for Canada, Canadian prosperity, or even relief in hard times. He's for the radical right-wing agenda that looks to prop up the ultra-wealthy at the expense of all other Canadians.

How some folks can willingly ignore the brackets you put on the "of America" as a means of attempting a gotcha is pretty cringe in my opinion.

You stating clearly that Canada, Mexico, and the US are all part of, and therefore make up, North America shouldn't be that hot of a take. Some folks 🤷

Spent the first two years of my life living in Edmonton. Unfortunately I don't remember what it was like (not that I'd want to tbh).

If I wanted to, I could go and stay at my grandparents' house for a bit, I'd just need to pay cuz it's one of them airbnb things nowadays.
