2月6日は【海苔の日・抹茶の日】
701年（大宝元年）に制定された大宝律令において海苔が年貢として納める海産物の一つとして指定された。
これにちなんで、大宝律令が施行された702年（大宝2年）1月1日を新暦に換算した2月6日を「海苔の日」とした。
日付は茶道において釜を掛けて湯を沸かす道具「風炉（ふろ）」から「ふ（2）ろ（6）」と読む語呂合わせで2月6日としたもの。
