Students learn the ins and outs of local government during a civic tour through Ventura County More than 40 students from seven different middle and high schools across the county experienced local government in action on Feb. 4, during a civic tour of Ventura County.

Local Dems poured money and time into losing Kelly Long’s seat two years ago. Yet this election, they are showing little interest in a strong candidate in Moorpark. Maybe it’s time to re-think who is running the local Dem clubs and party.
