A troubling aspect of US immigration and enforcement services is little tracking of how many people are harmed by their actions. We know that individuals were taken to the hospital during the July raid at Glass House. Yesterday an individual at the Camarillo field office was also taken to the 🏥.

We’re noticing a trend in local parents reporting they are moving their homeschooling children to Ventura County’s excellent public schools. We’re eager to learn if enrollment numbers substantiate they are in fact doing so.

There are six zones. Three were marijuana and the other three were tomatoes and cucumbers. The facility used to be a hydroponic tomato business before Glass House Brands bought it. Fields further out that are not Glass House owned rotate out, but cabbage is usually a common crop in that area.

Co-owner of Glass House Brands, Kyle Kazan’s has donated to Fiona Ma. Kazan is a real estate investor, since at least 2008 he’s donated to housing initiatives. As CA treasurer, Fiona Ma oversees housing tax incentives. Ma is pro affordable housing. Politically she is relevant to his RE interests.

We continue to be contacted about the Glass House raid last month in Camarillo. CA labor laws allow minors 14+ to be employed in non hazardous agriculture jobs outside school hours without a work permit.
