I asked the Minister today if he thinks that the postponed French-Saudi conference on a two-state solution, which may take place as early as next month, will provide the significant opportunity that he seeks to recognise Palestine as a state alongside UK allies.

This is a landmark moment for choice, compassion and dignity at the end of life.

I spoke this afternoon in support for the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill. The pain and indignity of a slow and painful death is something none of us would wish on anyone.

The pain, the suffering, the indignity, the degradation of a slow, painful, tortured death is something none of us would wish on a friend, relative, or anyone. If that suffering, in the narrow circumstances described in this bill, can be avoided, we should do so.'

The Silent Walk on Saturday marked the 8th anniversary of the Grenfell Tower fire. By next year the Tower will be demolished but the struggle will go on until all the victims get justice.

This Saturday marks eight years since the Grenfell Tower fire. It is good that the Government are implementing all 58 recommendations of phase 2 of the inquiry, but the four-year timetable is a long wait on top of the eight years that have already passed.

Improving our estate We are planning to invest £115m across our five hospitals in 2025/26 to reduce estate risks and improve experience in response to redevelopment delays.

Really good news that Hammersmith hospitals are getting one of the largest shares of the Estates Safety Fund to ensure the safety and performance of our world class hospitals as they prepare for rebuild in the coming years.
