I asked the Minister today if he thinks that the postponed French-Saudi conference on a two-state solution, which may take place as early as next month, will provide the significant opportunity that he seeks to recognise Palestine as a state alongside UK allies.

This is a landmark moment for choice, compassion and dignity at the end of life.

I spoke this afternoon in support for the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill. The pain and indignity of a slow and painful death is something none of us would wish on anyone.

I asked if the Secretary of State will consider opening the Elizabeth line station at Old Oak Common as soon as feasible rather than waiting for HS2 to begin operating & if a fraction of the cost of HS2 could be directed to the repair of Hammersmith Bridge.

This Saturday marks eight years since the Grenfell Tower fire. It is good that the Government are implementing all 58 recommendations of phase 2 of the inquiry, but the four-year timetable is a long wait on top of the eight years that have already passed.

The sanctioning of Smotrich & Ben-Gvir is welcome news. Settlement building & forced displacement are accelerating, and surely it is time to recognise Palestinian sovereignty over the 22% of mandate Palestine that remains to them before that too is eaten away.
