I prefer trees when they’ve lost their leaves, you can see their magnificent structure πŸͺΎI also love churchyards, goes back to a childhood spent in three that were close to family houses πŸͺ¦ #thicktrunktuesday #trees

The gardeners mate & I made the most of a dry, sunny day yesterday to blitz the weeds πŸŒ±β˜€οΈ
The one raised bed had become so overwhelming with annual weeds, so it’s had the cardboard treatment, just need some compost to go on top now. Feeling on top of things😊#gardening #weeding #growyourown #homegrown

I’m sure that’s what happened & I knew that really, but they looked so good there. You know what it’s like. Yes I will try again somewhere more suitable 🌿

I grew these Eremurus - fox tail lilies, in a bed with grasses. Unfortunately they stopped coming up.
I’m just debating whether to buy some more for a new bed next year, they’re rather spectacular πŸŒΏπŸ’›πŸ’›πŸŒΏ #SundayYellow #yellowflowers #bloomscrolling #eremurus
