This is good advice for game dev, but I would amend this with "genuine."

Some of the worst people I have met in this industry are "kind", but only when it serves or can shield them. Be genuine. Be open to criticism and feedback even when its hard to hear.

Be kind, but be real and true about it.

We finally have a release date! It's crazy to think that after years the release is only a couple of months away.

We spent a lot of time trying to define a concept that we liked and fit the jam theme so we're glad to hear it resonated :D

Keep thinking about this term "pre-digested" that Kojima used to describe art that's instantly gratifying. And how it's better when people grow to love something instead.

I've gravitated, as player and designer, toward the latter, but that term "pre-digested" is new and feels very strong.

Still one of my favorite worlds in a game.

Consume Me on Steam did you feel stupid, fat, lazy, and ugly in high school? well i did...but at least i made a life-simulation RPG about it!

Consume Me is finally out! This game blew me away when I looked at it for IGF. It deals with the real pressures of growing up as a teenage girl while telling that story through a whirlwind of delightful QWOP-like minigames. It’s charming and fun and smart and I hope everyone checks it out.
