Treat yourself to a look at the horseshoes at Oakham Castle in Rutland. A quick search brings up loads of images, including the one below on luxuriousnomad.com. It’s a good place to visit, but a very long walk from here. There’s also a bakery nearby selling pecan buns that MUST NOT be ignored.

We had a delightful day @sidmouthfolkfest.bsky.social yesterday (& wish we could have more).
