Bf buys brand new 27" monitor. 28" used monitor shows up instead. Wrong item, wrong condition, Missing pieces. Im slightly irritated cuz its part of his christmas gift to me. Hes disappointed because its a way better monitor thats twice the price and wouldve kept it if not for the missing pieces

Coursework and cat drama has got me so messed up that I keep forgetting what day it is.

Nothing says codependency quite like sitting in the bathroom providing moral support to your very very constipated cat who is more poop and laxative then person atm. We got to celebrate her litterbox win even though she peed on the floor first out of frustration. Shes really not feeling great atm

Mouse on the other hand, knew something happened to Cur the day we came home without her but was still amenable to laying with us and didnt even hiss at Callie

I cant recommend cuddle clones enough. This was worth it just to bring Callie's big sister back, let alone to help us humans heal.

Trying to get all of my laundry washed and my uniform bleached today. Came downstairs to find out the toilet seal failed and grey water leaked into the washing machine onto my clean clothes

The good news is we finished cooking for "service" so I get to sit at home and eat dinner with my cats instead of with my classmates for a fake buffet service

My 5 hour class got cut short tonight. The water that's been leaking from the ceiling in the hallway in our building for the past 2 weeks has spread to a storage room and directly on top of an electrical panel.

Bank sent me a fraud alert on my recent online purchase.. cuz you know all fraudsters hack into their victims bank accounts and move the exact purchase amount from savings to checking before making a purchase for that same amount on a website I buy from all the time. I just need printer ink

We are doing a tea service at the end of the semester and everything will be made in house. We mixed, cut and froze 6 kinds of scones while we were doing tropical desserts today

Went to a tea house with my advanced pastry class last week. It was fun and the tea selection was top tier but the food was not worth $60/head (the scones, creme brulee, and sandwiches were the only things made in house). Overall a nice change of pace from lab productions

I am only 5 weeks into this semester but I am ungodly tired. Advanced pastry is kicking my ass and I have my first practical exam on Tuesday.

Im sure we would be, but for right now I think it would be too much of a mindfuck for me at this point in the grieving process. I know they will find a good home for her locally, its just too much for me to take on an unvetted cat in another state at this moment

My best friend in Syracuse is trying to find a home for a black cat they found... it looks exactly like Curiosity. Part of me wants to adopt it but I know im going to struggle alot with separating that it is a whole other individual with its own quirks and personality traits

At least Sammy girl seems to be eating better with a wet food slurry so hopefully my parents will have more time with her. Her blood sugars are on point though so at least her diabetes isn't contributing to her worsening health

My mom called me yesterday. Her cat Sammy (f14) was diagnosed with an inoperable tumor in her jaw. This comes barely 6 weeks from Curiosity's lost battle with her metastasized tumors and my 99 year old grandma's passing 7 weeks before her. The grim reaper needs to stop trying to fill his dance card.

My mom needs a damn hobby. From 4pm till like 9pm she sent me 23 (yes I counted) Facebook videos. I was trying to knock out planning and requisition for 2 of my upcoming practical exams but its kinda hard to focus when both my phone and computer kept dinging

Can these fall freshman drivers stop using my car as a sacrificial offering? This is the second year in a row and I am so fucking pissed.

My girl came home today...

We are hopeful that tomorrow is the day she gets to come home to us. I have spent the week gathering all her things and making a place for her. Soon, she will sit with her brother in remembrance

Some amazing person on reddit edited two pictures together of Cur and the foster kittens so that everyone's looking at the camera. This was something I've wanted forever, and now seemed like the best time since I planned to get photos printed

Tonight there will be no yowling, no new midnight snacks at my bedside and all her favorite places sit empty. My sweet dust bunny has returned to the void for which she emerged, channeled and screamed. My world is a little darker without her in it. I'll love you forever my dearest Curiosity.

Someone's the proud new host of early stage kidney disease, a sinus/tooth infection and a mysterious dark spot in one of her lungs which shall henceforth be known as her inner void.

A new diet, and a dental visit are in her future, but antibiotics are her present.

Getting old sucks apparently

Today has been quite the learning experience. I ventured into amateur plumbing and I was successful. Now I can pressure wash my vagina

I am sad that shes gone of course but she lived a full life, had 3 kids, 3 grandchildren, and spent the final 34 years of her life without her husband and now they have been reunited. Each of us placed flowers on their grave.

This month has been so long, so taxing and exhausting.
My 99 year old grandmother has stepped beyond this mortal coil on the 4th and while it was expected, the stress and chaos of trying to balance all the split second planning on top of new med dosage and insomnia is just alot.

I was successful. Now I just need to shorten them a bit. The dip dye one didn't end up the colors I was expecting but I think it came out pretty sweet
