Coal is nearing its end in the EU electricity mix 📉
10 countries were already coal-free and a further 6 countries had less than 5% coal power in 2024.
Even Poland – the EU’s most coal-dependent country – saw coal power fall to 54% in 2024, down from 70% just 2 years ago.
