I have both the EXP and the VS. Tbh you can get better Ambernic handhelds and have access to a lot more games. However I like collecting the physical media. It's a good price point and the only thing I collect these days.

Been playing Evercade. Canon legends of the new gods and Xeno Crisis. Both great games and something I would never have played if it without owning an Evercade.

Introduce yourself with four video games.

I've done some of these before with mainly console games, so this time I'll (appropriately) stick with four of my core C64 and Amiga faves and games I play the most on them.

Closed my eyes and reached for our PS1 shelving and came away with Broken Helix. A non-linear, multi-plotline action-adventure game with the protag voiced by Bruce Campbell!

Konami was doing some really interesting stuff on PS1 alongside MGS and Silent Hill.

Knights of the Round (1991) | beat 'em up | Arcade and consoles | Capcom

Medieval England seen through the lens of a Capcom beat 'em up inspired by King Arthur was a wild smorgasbord of light RPG elements, tigers, a samurai warrior, and a Gearpunk golem standing in the way of saving a kingdom!

Absolutely recommend using this relocalization hack for your next playthrough of the NTSC-U version. It polishes it up with adding missing dialogue, plotlines, and more character banter.

So tough. 16 bit brings the most nostalgia. But I think 128 bit was the best overall. The PS2 library is vast and excellent. Nothing beats it

Commodore Vic 20. A hand me down from my uncle in 85. Followed not long after by the Commodore plus 4. Thinking back now the plus 4 was probably a dud buy for him. He moved swiftly onto the C64

Everyone's posting their most popular piece from the other site. Discounting memes and whatnot, I think mine was this, which I drew to commemorate the end of the SEGA AGES Switch line!

I was pretty happy with it at the time, and thankfully M2 liked it too! #TTDArt

I rented it back in the days when you could rent SNES games in the US. I thought it was cool, but like nobody was talking about it. And then I saw it on clearance regularly. Oddly, it took me a while to find a copy of my own.

The game sold terribly in the US. In Japan, it sold okay.

To piggyback on thisโ€ฆ

Can younger gamers stop trying to retcon Earthbound as being some massively successful earth shaking culturally significant game of its time.

None of that is true. It was a massive flop when it released.

This is my Evercade collection. I can play these via emulation & roms but I enjoy collecting physical media & the price point is just right for me. I also like feeling part of a modern retro community. Evercade has its faults but I think Blaze are doing a great job in a tough market. #Evercade

Have you ever seen Polygon Jetpack Robocop before? Now you have. Away he goes, to fight crime in the sky in a boondoggle of a movie.

The game this photo was snapped from, Ocean Software and DiD's Robocop 3 was released a full two years *before* the movie came out.
